This non-alcoholic American IPA delivers a sensory voyage defined by a massive hop profile that belies its low ABV. An intense bouquet of tropical fruit and bright citrus is driven by a heavy-handed addition of Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and El Dorado hops. These varieties weave together layers of mango, blueberry, sweet orange zest, and stone fruit that dominate both the aroma and the palate. Despite the lack of alcohol, the beer maintains a remarkably pillowy and soft texture. A restrained, clean malt backbone allows the vibrant hop oils to remain the focus, finishing with a gentle, refreshing crispness and lingering tropical notes.
Appearance. Medium gold with a persistent, dense white head. Displays a significant, uniform haze consistent with the New England influence, showing good lacing as the glass empties.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, mango, and lychee from Mosaic and El Dorado. Citra and Amarillo contribute bright layers of grapefruit and sweet orange peel. Low, grainy malt sweetness is barely perceptible beneath the hop-forward profile, with a clean fermentation character.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and citrus candy. The palate reveals peach and apricot flavors supported by a low, bready malt character. Hop bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure to balance the fruitiness without becoming harsh. It finishes medium-dry and clean with a lingering essence of tropical hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a notably soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle creaminess on the tongue. There is no alcohol warmth or astringency, resulting in a smooth, easy-drinking experience.
