Mega City IPA is a vibrant American IPA that strikes a masterful balance between punchy hop intensity and a clean malt backbone. The sensory profile is headlined by a double whammy of Citra and BRU-1 hops, which deliver a complex bouquet of bright citrus, lime zest, and unmistakable tropical notes of fresh pineapple. These fruit-forward traits are supported by delicate floral undertones and a subtle resinous depth. At 6.8% ABV, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable, utilizing a clean, grainy malt base to elevate the hops without adding distracting sweetness. A robust bitterness provides the necessary structure, leading into a crisp, dry, and refreshing finish.

Appearance. Medium gold in color (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by pineapple and stone fruit from BRU-1, alongside Citra's signature grapefruit zest and floral notes. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with no significant yeast esters.

Taste. The palate is led by high hop flavor, echoing the aroma with tropical fruit and citrus citrus dominance. Malt flavor is low and neutral, presenting as clean grain. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, balancing the hop oils without being harsh. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
