Belgoo Saisonneke is a refreshing, session-strength Saison that captures a rustic summer essence. Despite its 4.4% ABV, it offers a complex sensory profile driven by a blend of two grains and an expressive yeast strain. The aroma features a lively bouquet of citrus esters and cracked black pepper, enhanced by the herbal and floral notes of European hops. A generous dry-hopping adds layers of earthy sophistication. Appearance. Luminous pale gold (5 SRM) with a slight haze from being unfiltered. Topped by a dense, rocky, long-lasting white head that leaves significant Belgian lace on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity with a dominant fruity-spicy yeast profile. Notes of lemon zest and green apple are balanced by a distinct black pepper phenol. The dry-hopping with European hops contributes a moderate floral and spicy hop character, supported by a light, grainy malt scent.

Taste. Initial impression is bright and effervescent. Mid-palate reveals a soft, rustic graininess from the two-grain bill. Fermentation provides citrus and pome fruit flavors alongside a moderate peppery spice. The European hops offer a spicy, earthy flavor. It concludes with a firm bitterness and a very dry, clean, and lingering spicy finish.

Mouthfeel. Light body with very high, prickly carbonation that creates a refreshing, effervescent mouthfeel. There is no detectable alcohol warmth, ensuring maximum sessionability.
