This American Pale Ale showcases a vibrant hop profile through a thoughtful blend of Idaho 7, Centennial, and UK-grown Chinook. The sensory experience is led by a bright medley of tropical pineapple and stone fruit from the Idaho 7, layered with the classic floral citrus of Centennial and a sharp, resinous pine note from the Chinook. A lean, neutral pale malt base provides just enough structural support to ensure high drinkability without overshadowing the hops. It finishes crisp and clean, with a lingering but smooth bitterness that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the refreshing and hop-forward spirit of a modern craft pale ale.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber in color with brilliant clarity. It features a moderately large, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high hop intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical mango and apricot, bright lemon zest, and a cooling pine resin. Low, clean, bready malt notes provide a subtle background, complemented by very low fruity esters from a neutral fermentation.
Taste. The initial impression is a wash of citrus and tropical fruit flavors, followed by a firm, resinous pine character. Idaho 7 brings stone fruit depth, while Centennial provides floral lemon. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated against a crisp, light-colored malt backbone. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering hop spice in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a refreshing prickle on the tongue without any astringency or alcohol warmth.
