Cool Skies is an evocative Witbier that marries traditional Belgian heritage with a bright, contemporary hop profile. A hazy, pale straw pour yields inviting aromas of honeyed wheat and zesty orange. Appearance. Very pale straw (approx. 3 SRM). Extremely cloudy with a milky, whitish-yellow shine from starch haze. Features a dense, white, moussy head with very good retention.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a bready, grainy maltiness and light honey notes. Prominent perfumy-lemony coriander blends with zesty sweet orange and tangerine. Low spicy-earthy hop notes and a floral-lemon undertone.
Taste. Pleasant bready malt flavor followed by zesty orange-citrus fruitiness. Subtly herbal and spicy with lemony coriander and a touch of bitter orange peel. Low hop bitterness supports the citrus character. Finishes dry and refreshingly crisp with no lingering harshness.
