Back In Bract 105 is a vibrant American IPA showcasing the unique sensory profile of the experimental NZ105 hop variety. This single-hop expression leads with a powerful aromatic display of lush tropical fruits, specifically overripe mango and nectarine, underpinned by a subtle resinous pine. The pour reveals a brilliant gold body with a persistent, lacy white head. On the palate, the intense stone fruit character of the NZ105 hops is balanced by a clean, lean malt backbone and a firm, refreshing bitterness. It finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering impression of New Zealand’s distinctive terroir through a clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Medium gold color (approx. 7 SRM) with excellent clarity. Features a medium-sized, creamy white head with high persistence and intricate lacing.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, delivering concentrated flavors of mango, apricot, and grapefruit zest. Bitterness is firm and assertive yet smooth, supported by a bready, low-intensity malt profile. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture and moderate to high carbonation. Provides a crisp, refreshing bite with very low, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
