This collaboration between Beerbliotek and Whiplash delivers a quintessential West Coast IPA experience, characterized by its brilliant clarity and focused hop profile. Driven by Centennial hops, the sensory journey begins with an assertive bouquet of zesty grapefruit, lemon peel, and delicate floral notes reminiscent of rose petals. A clean, lean malt backbone provides just enough structure without distracting from the hop-forward balance. The palate is defined by a firm, refreshing bitterness and a dry, crisp finish. Bright and resonant, this ale showcases the classic hop character of Centennial with a high-attenuation precision that remains incredibly drinkable despite its punchy bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 8 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, and a distinct floral perfume. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt supports the hops. Fermentation character is neutral with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and bright. Bold Centennial hop flavors of citrus rind and pine resin dominate, supported by a low, clean, slightly toasty malt base.
