On the palate, a firm but polished bitterness cuts through the creamy, medium-full mouthfeel, leading to a surprisingly dry and clean finish. It is a powerful yet balanced expression of modern hops, delivering a punch of resinous pine and ripe fruit character while maintaining high drinkability.
Appearance. Gold to pale orange-copper with a hazy clarity resulting from the wheat and oat additions. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with thick lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring stone fruit, apricot, and plum from Rakau, complemented by tropical mango and citrus zest from Citra. Clean, grainy malt notes from 2-row barley form a neutral background with a light, smooth alcohol note.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of peach, mango, and grapefruit. Bitterness is high but lacks harshness, balanced by a soft, bready malt character. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
