This celebratory Triple IPA marks a decade of brewing with an intense, hop-forward profile that pushes the boundaries of the Double IPA style. At 10% ABV, it delivers a massive sensory impact, led by high-intensity aromas of ripe mango, zesty grapefruit, and resinous pine. The palate is dominated by a firm, clean bitterness that balances a lean, neutral malt backbone, ensuring the hops remain the sensory focus. Despite its significant strength, the finish remains remarkably dry and crisp, typical of Beavertown's technical approach. A smooth, integrated alcohol warmth complements the vibrant tropical fruit notes for a bold yet dangerously drinkable anniversary experience.
Appearance. Pale gold to light copper (6-9 SRM). Persistent, creamy off-white head with excellent lacing. Slight haze is present, common in heavily dry-hopped examples.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant citrus (grapefruit), tropical fruit (passionfruit), and resinous pine hop character. Very low, clean, grainy malt presence. Clean fermentation profile with a subtle, smooth alcohol note.
Taste. Intense hop flavors mirroring the aroma with bold citrus and tropical fruit. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but smooth, lacking harshness. Malt is low and neutral, supporting the hops without adding cloying sweetness. Finishes dry with a long, lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Medium carbonation. Significant but smooth alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without being solventy. No hop-derived astringency.
