Stromberg is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures the essence of a tropical grove with a distinct, bold intensity. Pouring with a characteristic shine and dense opacity, it leads with an assertive bouquet of red berries and lush stone fruits. The palate is defined by a soft, plush texture that carries intense waves of tropical fruit alongside a subtle, clean, bready malt foundation. This bold profile is expertly balanced, trading aggressive bitterness for a smooth, juice-like saturation. At 6.5% ABV, it offers a gentle warmth that complements its creamy, medium-full body, concluding with a clean, fruit-forward finish that invites another sip.
Appearance. Color is straw to light amber with a deep, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine. It features a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by ripe red berries, peaches, and tropical fruits like mango. In the background, a light, grainy, and bready malt character persists, supported by clean, fruity fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of stone fruit and berry. Malt flavor is low and bready. Bitterness is moderate but masked by the soft body, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, plush texture and moderate carbonation. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and an absence of any harshness or astringency.
