Hand-selected Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Simcoe hops create a pungent, multi-layered sensory profile. The nose is dominated by dank, resinous notes—often described as THC-like—intertwined with bright bursts of tropical pineapple and ripe blueberry. A lean, neutral malt base provides a clean canvas for these punchy aromatics. On the palate, the fruit-forward character is balanced by a crisp, moderate bitterness and a dry, refreshing finish, making this a quintessential example of a contemporary, aromatic pale ale that remains remarkably approachable.
Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM). Topped with a moderately large, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing. Generally clear to slightly hazy, reflecting modern unfiltered craft techniques.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pungent, resinous dankness and herbal notes. Strong fruit character of tropical pineapple and dark berry (blueberry). Low, clean, bready maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of tropical fruit and pine. Distinct flavors of pineapple and wild blueberry lead, followed by a persistent, resinous dankness. Medium-low neutral grainy malt supports the hop showcase without adding sweetness.
