Imperial IPA 8 º
Beak More is a lush, modern Double IPA that emphasizes a rich, pillowy texture through the addition of oats and wheat. The sensory profile is dominated by a heavy saturation of Mosaic, Sabro, and HBC 630 hops, yielding an intense tropical bouquet. Expect vivid notes of creamy coconut and ripe mango coupled with bright guava and a unique squishy strawberry character. Despite its strength, the profile remains focused on hop expression rather than malt sweetness. The finish is smooth with a soft bitterness, balancing the dense, fruit-forward profile against a clean, supportive grain bill for exceptional drinkability.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Very hazy to opaque with a thick, persistent, creamy white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent coconut, ripe mango, and guava. Distinctive berry notes resembling sweet strawberries are present. Low, neutral grainy malt in the background with a hint of oat creaminess. Clean fermentation profile with very low alcohol notes.
Taste. Initial impression of tropical fruit salad, featuring mango and guava, followed by mid-palate coconut and red berry flavors. Low to medium supportive malt character with a soft, cereal-like quality. Moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and lacks any harshness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, velvety texture from the oats and wheat. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth. Very low astringency.
