Beak

Loro is a vibrantly expressive Hazy IPA that showcases the synergistic magic of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin. This trio delivers a powerful olfactory bouquet of overripe passion fruit and ripe mango, accented by the distinctive crushed gooseberry and white wine notes characteristic of the Nelson Sauvin hop. The palate is a lush, juice-forward experience where Mosaic drives layers of blueberry and stone fruit against a soft, bready malt backdrop. Simcoe provides a subtle, grounding piney resin that balances the tropical intensity. It finishes with a delicate, rounded bitterness and a lingering citrus zest, epitomizing the style's signature smooth, pillowy texture and refined fruit complexity.

Appearance. Pale gold with a saturated, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous, glowing quality. Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick, sculpted lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with an explosion of tropical and vinous notes. Dominant aromas of passion fruit, sweet mango, and gooseberry are supported by subtle blueberry and grapefruit. The malt presence is low and strictly supportive, offering a clean, bready, and lightly doughy foundation without caramel or toast.

Taste. Initial impression of tropical fruit punch. Flavors of ripe stone fruit and citrus transition into a nuanced mid-palate of white grape and berry. Hop bitterness is moderate and smooth, never harsh or grassy. The malt is neutral and grainy, providing a soft platform for the hops. Finishes off-dry and clean with a refreshing, fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, creamy mouthfeel without any carbonic bite or astringency. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
