Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (SRM 7–9) with a persistent, dense off-white head and significant lacing. This modern example presents a notable haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping, though still translucent.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma showcasing a multifaceted dank character. Prominent notes of pine resin and cedar are layered with flinty white wine and gooseberry. Supporting notes of blueberry and tropical fruit are evident. Malt is low, providing a clean, grainy, and neutral foundation with light pear-like esters.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of hop resins and tropical fruit. Strong flavors of white grape and crushed pine needles transition into berry and stone fruit. Bitterness is high and firm but remains smooth. A low, soft malt character provides just enough support to prevent a thin profile. The finish is medium-dry and crisp, leaving a lingering aftertaste of cedar and citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, resinous texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle that cuts through the hop oils. Alcohol warmth is noticeable but refined and well-integrated without being solventy.
