Ron is an exceptionally opaque Hazy IPA that leads with a vibrant tropical and floral bouquet. The heavy use of Wheat in the grist provides a soft, pillowy foundation for a massive hop charge. Idaho-7 drives intense aromas of ripe pineapple and sweet orange, while Centennial contributes a classic layer of pine and zesty pink grapefruit. This collaboration captures a complex sensory profile where botanical notes of rose intermingle with resinous undertones. It finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness and a lingering fruit-forward character, making for a lush and incredibly juice-like drinking experience that perfectly exemplifies the modern, hop-saturated style.
Appearance. Pale gold with an orange hue (5 SRM); opaque, foggy clarity with a luminous shine; thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe pineapple, orange peel, and pink grapefruit; secondary floral notes reminiscent of rose and a subtle resinous pine; low bready, grainy malt character from the wheat.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and citrus pith; high flavor intensity of pineapple and grapefruit with a floral, botanical middle; low bready malt flavor; low to medium-low bitterness that is smooth and non-lingering; off-dry finish with a persistent fruity aftertaste.
