This Double Dry Hopped West Coast Imperial India Pale Lager takes the structural bones of a German Pils and amplifies them with a 7.2% ABV and punchy New World hops. The sensory profile is led by the intense aromatic contributions of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Motueka, delivering a complex bouquet of white grape, lime, and bright citrus over a clean, grainy malt base. Despite its imperial strength, it maintains a brilliant clarity and a crisp, lager-like precision. The palate is defined by a firm, lingering bitterness and a bone-dry finish that emphasizes the modern hop character while honoring the refreshing nature of its stylistic roots.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-4 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by hop-derived notes of gooseberry and white wine from Nelson Sauvin, lime zest from Motueka, and grapefruit from Citra. Underlying low grainy-sweet and doughy malt character. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or phenols.

Taste. Initial crisp malt sweetness is immediately overtaken by intense hop flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed grapes. High bitterness is firm and clean, following through to a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste is long and hop-forward with a touch of toasted cracker.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a crisp, refreshing texture. High carbonation provides a lively effervescence. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its imperial strength. No astringency.
