This modern interpretation of a German Pils delivers a bright, refreshing experience enhanced by the addition of rice for a bone-dry finish. While the classic lager foundation provides a clean, cracker-like malt base, the dry-hopping with Nelson Sauvin and Wai-iti introduces vibrant layers of white wine grapes, gooseberry, and fresh lime zest. The aromatics are forward and punchy, yet the beer remains exceptionally chuggable with a sharp, crisp profile that prioritizes refreshment. It is a brilliant, pale lager where traditional crispness meets contemporary New Zealand hop fruitiness, resulting in a clean, lingering bitterness that perfectly balances the lean, rice-driven body.
