Cherry Rigged is a bold Hazy IPA that defies tradition, blending the vibrant tropical notes of Mosaic and Strata hops with an intense infusion of sweet and sour cherries. This Milkshake variant presents a lush, fruit-forward profile where the berry-like qualities of the hops harmonize with a bright, stone-fruit acidity. The addition of lactose creates a smooth, creamy foundation that rounds out the hop bitterness, allowing the deep cherry character to take center stage. Expect a complex sensory interplay of passion fruit, strawberry, and tart cherry, leading to a plush, lingering finish that balances residual sweetness with a delicate fruit tang.

Appearance. Deep pink to reddish-amber (10–15 SRM) resulting from heavy cherry infusion; opaque and hazy with a luminous glow. Pours with a dense, pink-tinted, meringue-like head that shows excellent retention and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma of fresh red cherries, both sweet and tart. Strong hop presence features passion fruit and strawberry notes from Strata, alongside the blueberry and tropical fruit character of Mosaic. Subtle hints of creamy lactose and a neutral, bready malt base are detectable underneath the fruit dominance.

Taste. Immediate impact of tart and juicy cherries. The hop flavors of tropical fruit and mixed berries are prominent, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Medium-low bitterness is present but largely masked by the residual sweetness of lactose. The finish is smooth and off-dry, with a lingering fruit-skin tang and a touch of creamy sweetness from the unfermentable sugars.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. The lactose addition contributes a distinct creaminess and smooth mouthfeel without being cloying or overly viscous.
