This Double IPA presents a lush, modern sensory profile driven by a heavy-handed application of Citra and Mosaic hops. The aroma is an intense bouquet of ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright tangerine, underscored by a resinous pine depth. On the palate, the blend of traditional English malts, wheat, and oats provides a remarkably soft and clean foundation that carries the high hop bitterness without feeling heavy. Expect a wave of tropical citrus flavors to transition into a crisp, dry finish. Despite its strength, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable, balancing its resinous hop character with a velvety, smooth texture and a well-integrated warmth.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (8-10 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head. Displays a slight, attractive haze due to the high protein content from wheat and oats.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit, citrus, and resinous pine. Notes of mango and grapefruit from Citra and Mosaic are supported by a clean, neutral to slightly grainy malt background with very low fermentation esters.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of tangerine, pineapple, and pine. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks harshness. A soft, unobtrusive malt character provides a clean base, leading to a dry finish with a lingering hoppy, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, creamy texture contributed by the oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate-high, and a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present without being hot or solventy.
