Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with excellent clarity and a translucent quality. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of resinous pine, bright grapefruit citrus, and deep dank earthiness. Prominent tropical notes of mango and guava emerge as it warms. Malt is low and clean, providing a light grainy background with no significant esters.
Taste. A bold hop-forward impression with high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Flavors of resinous pine and citrus zest from Simcoe lead into the punchy tropical fruit profile of mango and guava from the Strata hops. Columbus adds a foundational dank, herbal depth.
