This Cold IPA from Basqueland Brewing showcases a precise hop profile from Indie Hops, featuring the vibrant character of Luminosa, Strata, and Lorien hops. Fermented with lager yeast for a clean and crisp foundation, the beer delivers a refreshing, dry profile that emphasizes aromatic intensity. Bright mandarin citrus leads the bouquet, supported by layers of tropical fruit, subtle floral notes, and a touch of candy-like sweetness. Despite its hop-forward nature, it remains exceptionally drinkable with a light, grainy malt backbone and a balanced, slightly bitter finish that highlights its modern West Coast leanings and lean fermentation character.

Appearance. Pale gold (4-6 SRM). Brilliantly clear with a medium-sized, persistent white head and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mandarin citrus, passion fruit, and mango. Delicate floral and sweet candy notes emerge as it breathes. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast esters; very low, grainy malt presence provides a neutral background.

Taste. Hop-forward initial impression with immediate flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit. Very low, clean, crackery malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but firm, supporting a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste is clean with lingering notes of citrus and flowers.
