This Hazy Session IPA presents a vibrant, tropical profile where Sabro takes center stage. A bouquet of creamy coconut, lime, and ripe pineapple emerges immediately, bolstered by the bright citrus notes of Citra and the complex floral, woody character of HBC 692. Though light in body, the beer offers a soft, hazy mouthfeel that carries flavors of stone fruit and tangerine across the palate. The malt remains a quiet, bready backbone, allowing the hops to provide a firm yet approachable bitterness. It concludes with a clean, dry finish, emphasizing the refreshing, aromatic potential of modern hop varieties in a highly drinkable format.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves distinct lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit, coconut, and citrus notes. Specific secondary aromas of cedar and floral spice from HBC 692 are evident. Malt is low and clean, providing a grainy, crackery background with no caramel. Fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters.
