This celebratory Double IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience defined by its complex, multi-layered hop profile. The combination of Citra and Idaho 7 hops projects a massive wave of ripe mango, passion fruit, and citrus zest, while Vic Secret and Motueka contribute distinctive notes of crushed pineapple and bright lime. The mouthfeel is soft and supportive, providing a canvas for the intense tropical fruit explosion without becoming heavy. Despite its 8% ABV, the finish remains remarkably clean and dry, balancing the bold lupulin saturation with a refined bitterness that invites another sip of this modern classic.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with a moderate, persistent off-white head. This iteration displays a characteristic slight haze with significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mango, passion fruit, and pineapple notes. Distinct citrus accents of lime and grapefruit zest are supported by a faint resinous pine. Malt remains in the background as a neutral, grainy sweetness.
