Utilizing a heavy-handed application of Vista and Strata hops, this beer delivers an intense sensory experience characterized by lush, ripe tropical fruit. The aroma and palate are saturated with vivid mango and papaya, layered with nuanced notes of fresh cantaloupe melon and a distinctive hint of strawberry caramel. Despite its formidable strength, it maintains the clean, hop-forward focus of a Double IPA, supported by a dense, smooth malt backbone that carries high bitterness into a lingering, fruit-saturated finish.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper (8-10 SRM) with a slight haze appropriate for its massive hop load. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. Intensity is high, featuring a complex hop bouquet of ripe mango, papaya, and sweet melon. Strata hops contribute a distinct berry-like strawberry note alongside a faint hint of caramel sweetness. Low, clean, neutral malt serves as a background to the fruit-forward fermentation profile. Alcohol is present but smooth and well-integrated.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit and melon flavors. Hop flavor is strong and complex, mirroring the mango and papaya found in the aroma. The malt character is low to medium, providing a soft, supportive base with light toast. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness, balancing the high ABV. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A noticeable but restrained alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the 10% ABV without being solventy or hot. No hop-derived astringency is perceived.
