Basqueland Jgala is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile through a collaboration with Phaste. A Double Dry Hopped treatment brings the unique Zappa hops to the forefront, delivering a distinctive sensory experience. The aroma opens with a lush cascade of ripe tropical fruits, transitioning into bright lime citrus. The neomexicanus character of Zappa introduces an unexpected and refreshing minty layer that weaves through the fruit-forward profile. This beer balances a soft, pillowy texture with intense hop saturation, resulting in a juicy, complex palate that finishes with a gentle, cooling herbal snap and lingering citrus zest.

Appearance. SRM 4-6; light orange to straw with a dense, opaque haze providing a characteristic shine. Features a rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by ripe mango, pineapple, and passion fruit. Distinctive secondary notes of fresh lime zest and a unique, cool minty herbal quality. Low bready malt and subtle stone fruit esters in the background.

Taste. High hop flavor mirroring the aroma with a flood of tropical fruit and sharp lime. The Zappa hops provide a pleasant minty complexity.
