This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant sensory profile centered on a tropical burst of fruit. A signature velvety smoothness carries intense aromas of sun-ripened mango and succulent peach, driven by the purposeful inclusion of Mosaic and Palisade hops. These varieties provide a layered experience where the stone fruit depth is balanced by a refreshing hint of freshly cut grass. Designed for high drinkability, the beer maintains a soft, pillowy texture on the palate. The interplay between the bready malt backbone and the punchy, juice-like hop character results in a modern, inspiration-fueling example of the style.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze that gives the liquid a luminous quality. Features a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and sticky lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by ripe mango, peach, and apricot. A secondary, refreshing note of freshly cut grass provides a clean counterpoint. The malt is subtle, offering a light, bready, and grainy character with no caramel or toast. Esters are neutral to slightly fruity, complementing the hops.
Taste. Explosive tropical fruit flavors mirror the aroma, featuring heavy mango and stone fruit notes from the Mosaic and Palisade hops. Malt flavor is low to moderate, providing a soft, bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the soft water profile and body. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruity aftertaste devoid of hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable velvety and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. It is exceptionally smooth on the palate with no astringency and only a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
