This American Pale Ale presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by its modern hop architecture. A bright aromatic punch leads with tropical stone fruit and citrus zest, driven by a complex dry-hop blend of Krush, Citra, and Wai-iti. The whirlpool addition of Mosaic introduces layers of mixed berries and floral undertones. On the palate, the hop-forward character is supported by a lean, neutral malt backbone that ensures a crisp, refreshing experience. The finish is remarkably clean and dry, highlighting the sophisticated interplay of New World hops while maintaining the approachable balance and high drinkability essential to the style.
Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Topped by a moderately large, frothy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring lime zest, peach, and passion fruit from Wai-iti and Citra, complemented by the subtle blueberry and tropical notes of Mosaic and Krush. Malt remains low and neutral, offering a hint of cracked grain with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial citrus and tropical fruit flavors mirror the aroma, showcasing peach and mango. The hop-forward profile is balanced by a low, bready malt presence. Bitterness is moderate, providing structure without harshness. The finish is dry with a lingering note of grapefruit peel and soft stone fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation, creating a crisp and lively texture. No perceived alcohol warmth and a very smooth finish without any astringency.
