Basqueland Brewing

This Hazy IPA offers a tropical escape through a vibrant blend of Mosaic, Motueka, and Strata hops. It pours with a luminous, opaque glow, releasing an intense bouquet of crushed pineapple, passion fruit, and bright lime zest. The Mosaic provides a foundation of ripe berries and mango, while Strata adds a complex layer of dank strawberry and tropical resin. Motueka contributes a refreshing citrus snap. The palate is soft and velvety, supported by a neutral, bready malt base that allows the juicy hop character to shine without harshness. It finishes with a clean, pillowy smoothness and minimal perceived bitterness.

Appearance. Straw to light golden (3-5 SRM); opaque haze with a luminous shine. Thick, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by mango, blueberry, and passion fruit. Distinctive lime zest from the Motueka and a subtle dankness from the Strata are present. Background malt is clean and lightly bready; fermentation is neutral with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring pineapple, citrus, and stone fruit. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that never becomes sharp. Malt flavor is low and grainy-sweet, providing a soft canvas for the hops. Finish is smooth and off-dry with a lingering juicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and creamy without any astringency or hop burn. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
