This Double IPA showcases an intense hop profile driven by a heavy dry-hop of Amarillo, Citra, Idaho 7, and Mosaic. It delivers an aromatic punch of ripe tropical mango and resinous pine, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that stays out of the way. At 8% ABV, it presents a smooth, well-integrated warmth without being heavy or cloying. The finish is decisively dry, emphasizing a firm bitterness that cleanses the palate. It is a modern take on the style, balancing complexity from the varied hop varieties with the high drinkability expected of a premium strong ale.

Appearance. Pours a brilliant gold with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing. Clarity is good to brilliant.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring citrus zest from Citra, tropical berry from Mosaic, and stone fruit notes from Amarillo. Idaho 7 adds a complex pine and black tea character. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean background with a very light fruity fermentation profile.

Taste. Dominant hop flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, and resin. Bitterness is high but clean, lacking harshness. A low, supportive, grainy-sweet malt character leads to a very dry, lingering hoppy finish with a smooth, clean alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp lift. No hop-derived astringency is present, followed by a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth.
