This Double IPA is a lush, hop-forward collaboration between Basqueland and Soma. A specific vintage of Citra hops drives a prominent aroma of cantaloupe melon, which intermingles with ripe pineapple from Vic Secret and a bright lime finish from Motueka. Fermented with London Fog yeast, the sensory profile is elevated by fruity esters that complement the intense tropical hop character. The addition of oats and wheat creates a dense, silky texture and an untuous, medium-full presence. The experience concludes with a sweet and pleasant finish, balancing its 8.5% strength with exceptional smoothness and a refined, integrated bitterness.
