Barret TAM presents as a refined Scottish Heavy, balancing rich malt complexity with an approachable profile. The sensory experience is led by a foundation of sweet malt and Caramelized malt, offering deep notes of toasted bread and graham crackers. Distinctive accents of hazelnut and dry nuts provide a unique tertiary layer, while a subtle, evocative wisp of smoke from Smoked malt adds depth without overwhelming the palate. This dark amber ale maintains crystalline clarity and a gentle sweetness that transitions into a clean, slightly roasty finish, reflecting its heritage with a sophisticated, nutty twist.

Appearance. 19.6 SRM (Deep copper to dark amber). Clear, crystalline transparency with a moderate, creamy off-white head that leaves light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring sweet, bready malt, toffee, and caramelized sugar. Distinctive notes of toasted hazelnut and a subtle, clean wisp of smoke are present. Low earthy hop character with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial malt-forward impression of toasted bread and caramel. Mid-palate introduces a nutty complexity reminiscent of hazelnut and dried fruits. Hop bitterness is low, providing just enough balance to prevent cloying. The finish is clean with a lingering malt sweetness and a touch of roasted dryness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a moderately creamy texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. At 5% ABV, there is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Cerveza negra de estilo escocés con aromas de frutos secos. Aroma a malta dule, acentuado por una moderada dosis de malta caramelizada en la cocción. Se percibe un cierto aroma de humo, procedente de la malta ahumada.
De aspecto ámbar oscuro y cristalino, su sabor nos permite viajar por las papilas. El primer trago nos da el gusto de las maltas, pero no demasiado fuerte.
