This Belgian Blond Ale offers a refined and rounded sensory experience that balances artisanal malt depth with a sophisticated yeast profile. Barret Calotte leads with a bouquet of fruity esters, notably citrus and lemon, complemented by the delicate floral and spicy aromas of Perle hops. The palate is defined by a soft, grainy-sweet malt character, reminiscent of honey or lightly toasted bread, which provides a smooth foundation for the gentle bitterness. Effervescent and medium-bodied, this ale integrates its alcohol warmth seamlessly, culminating in a dry, crisp finish that highlights both the complexity of the Belgian yeast and the clean hop finish.

Appearance. Deep gold color (SRM 5–6), featuring a large, dense, and creamy white head with excellent retention and classic Belgian lacing. Clarity is brilliant.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a grainy-sweet malt core and hints of honey. The yeast profile provides clear citrusy esters and a background of spicy, peppery phenols. Hop character is subtle, showing floral and earthy notes from the Perle additions.

Taste. Initial impression is of smooth, grainy malt with a touch of caramelized sugar. The balance is slightly malt-forward but countered by a medium-low bitterness. Flavors of orange peel and black pepper emerge in the mid-palate, supported by a light spicy hop flavor. The finish is medium-dry and remarkably soft.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with high carbonation providing a bubbly, mouth-filling sensation. Features a smooth, somewhat creamy texture and a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
