Created for The Craft Beer Channel’s 10th anniversary, this American Pale Ale is a vibrant, modern showcase of high-impact hopping. The aromatic profile is defined by a heavy double dry-hop addition of Strata and Simcoe, delivering a potent collision of pungent, dank resin and bright tropical fruit. Expect layers of passionfruit and sweet strawberry from the Strata, contrasted by the characteristic pine and grapefruit notes of Simcoe. At a sessionable strength, the sensory experience is driven by this hop complexity, supported by a clean, lean malt backbone that allows the "hop bomb" character to dominate without becoming heavy. It finishes crisp and punchy, emphasizing a contemporary, hop-forward profile.

Appearance. Pours a brilliant pale gold (approx. 6 SRM) with a moderately large, frothy white head that exhibits excellent retention and thick lacing. Clarity is generally high, though a very faint luminescence from the heavy dry-hop load may be present.

Aroma. Moderately-high intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, passionfruit, and strawberry esters alongside a pronounced resinous, dank, and piney character. A low, neutral, grainy maltiness provides a clean background, allowing the fresh hop oils to remain the primary focus.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-dominant, bursting with flavors of citrus peel, pine, and tropical berries. The bitterness is firm and moderate, typical of the style, and persists into a clean, dry finish. A light bready malt flavor provides just enough support to balance the hop intensity without adding sweetness or caramel. The aftertaste is crisp and refreshing with lingering notes of grapefruit and resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing lift. The finish is smooth and clean, lacking any harshness or astringency despite the significant dry-hop additions. No perceived alcohol warmth.
