Baron Brewing's Illegal Feed is a vibrant, session-strength American Pale Ale that punches far above its 3.4% ABV. Appearance. Pale golden (5 SRM). Large, frothy white head with good retention and light lacing. Slight haze consistent with modern dry-hopped versions.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and passionfruit from the Simcoe. Pronounced tropical esters reminiscent of ripe mango and pineapple dominate, supported by a low, neutral grainy maltiness.

Mashed hot for lots of body. Fermented with the Kveik Mango Madness strain from WHC, which results in loads of haze and juice. Fruit forward esters that come across very fragrant, even in a low pale. Fermented at 35 Degree Celsius and it ripped through in 18 hours. Simcoe Cryo and T90 added post ferm after dropping the yeast and reducing the temp to 22 Degree Celsius.
