This American Pale Ale presents a bold, tropical departure from tradition. Leveraging the unique HBC 1019 hop variety, the beer exudes intense Piña Colada notes of creamy coconut and ripe pineapple. This is sharpened by the bright, citrusy punch of Citra, providing a necessary lime and grapefruit zest to balance the exotic profile. Fermentation with WHC Mango Madness Kveik yeast amplifies the sensory experience with a heavy layer of succulent mango and stone fruit esters. Despite its experimental edge, the beer remains grounded by a clean, neutral malt base, finishing with the crisp, refreshing bitterness expected of the style.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a slight haze. Features a moderately large, fluffy white head with excellent retention and persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical coconut, pineapple, and sweet melon. Bright citrus notes of lime peel and tangerine follow, supported by punchy mango and guava yeast esters. Malt is low and neutral, offering a light cracker-like background.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit cocktail, featuring creamy coconut and ripe mango. Mid-palate, citrus bitterness and grapefruit zest emerge. Malt flavors are restrained and grainy. The fermentation profile is highly ester-forward but clean. Finishes moderately dry with a lingering, pleasant tropical hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation providing a lively, crisp sensation. Smooth finish without astringency; very subtle, integrated alcohol presence.
