Caldera is a nostalgic tribute to the classic West Coast-style American IPA, delivering a punchy sensory experience at 6.8% ABV. The profile is dominated by a persistent and bright citrus hop character, featuring notes of grapefruit and orange zest derived from extensive multi-stage hopping. While the hop bitterness is firm and assertive, it is anchored by a noticeable sweet malt presence that provides a sturdy backbone and structural balance. This synthesis creates a resinous yet approachable palate, finishing with a crisp, clean bitterness that invites another sip. It is a bold, hop-forward ale that captures the essence of the craft beer revolution.
Appearance. Deep gold with light amber hues and brilliant clarity. Topped with a medium-sized, off-white head that shows excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma characterized by prominent citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon pith, accompanied by a light resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy maltiness with a hint of toasted caramel provides a subtle background support.
