This vibrant Double IPA serves as a sensory tribute to the Mosaic hop, delivering an intricate aromatic profile of blueberry, tropical mango, and resinous pine. The inclusion of rye malt is masterful, providing a subtle peppery spice that expertly counters the assertive hop bitterness while contributing to a uniquely silky body. On the palate, layers of citrus zest and stone fruit emerge against a clean, supportive malt backdrop. At 7.9% ABV, the beer remains remarkably drinkable, concluding with a long, dry, and lingering finish that showcases the complex, multifaceted character of its primary hop variety.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale copper (approx. 8-10 SRM) with excellent clarity and a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent Mosaic notes of blueberry, ripe tropical fruit, and earthy pine. A clean, neutral malt presence provides a soft background, complemented by a light spicy hint from the rye and a clean fermentation profile.
