Funky Sopi is a vibrant American IPA that captures a modern, soulful aesthetic through an intensive Double Dry Hop treatment. It pours with a dense, hazy character, signaling a departure from classic clarity toward a lush, New World texture. The aromatic profile is explosive, dominated by tropical and exotic fruit notes. On the palate, Vic Secret hops provide a sharp grapefruit entry and a powerful resinous bitterness, while Ekuanot lends distinctive pineapple highlights. Supported by a clean, lean malt backbone, the experience concludes with a refreshingly dry finish. It is a suave, fruit-forward ale with a lingering, piney hop bite.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx 7 SRM). Dense, hazy, and opaque with a medium-sized, persistent white head and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent pineapple, grapefruit, and passion fruit. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the tropical notes. Clean fermentation profile with no significant yeast esters.
