This American IPA serves as a concentrated showcase for the New Zealand Motueka hop, utilized in multiple high-intensity formats including the rare Motueka Hyperboost and Mega Motueka. The sensory profile is dominated by a vibrant, mojito-like lime zest and tropical fruit punch, bolstered by the resinous, stone fruit depth of Idaho 7. A lean, pale malt base provides a clean canvas, allowing the aggressive hop saturation to lead. The palate is punchy and bright, offering a crisp bitterness that balances the intense citrus oils. It finishes exceptionally clean, leaving a lingering trail of lime peel and crushed pine needles.

Appearance. Deep gold (approx. 8 SRM) with a slight, hop-derived haze. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent lime zest, lemon curd, and fresh tropical fruit. Secondary notes of apricot and a hint of herbal tea are present. Low, grainy-sweet malt supports the hop presentation with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the lime and tropical citrus from the aroma. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral foundation. Bitterness is firm and assertive (mid-range for the style), leading to a medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is hoppy and clean with no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the heavy hop additions. Moderate carbonation. Very light, integrated alcohol warmth without any astringency.
