This Czech Premium Pale Lager showcases the profound benefits of a 140-day cold conditioning period and a traditional single decoction. On the nose, it offers a rich, bready malt foundation layered with delicate floral and spicy herbal notes. The extended lagering translates into a remarkably smooth, rounded palate where the deep malt complexity meets a firm but soft bitterness. Brilliant clarity and a dense, creamy head reflect its meticulous production. Appearance. Deep gold color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominated by rich, bready and biscuit-like malt aromatics. Supported by a medium-high spicy and floral hop bouquet. Fermentation is very clean due to extended lagering, showing no diacetyl or fruity esters.
Taste. The initial impression is of complex, toasted bread and rich malt sweetness. This is immediately balanced by a pronounced yet soft and rounded bitterness. Flavor profile includes spicy and herbal hop notes. The finish is long and clean, perfectly balanced between malt depth and hop dryness without any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded texture. Moderate carbonation. No alcoholic warmth at 4.9% ABV. Exceptionally smooth and creamy, lacking any astringency.
