Banks Brewing

Kick Back City is a punchy American IPA that leans into the modern West Coast ethos with a double dry-hopped intensity. The sensory experience is dominated by the almighty combination of Peacharine and Mosaic hops, delivering a vibrant bouquet of ripe stone fruit, zesty citrus, and mixed berries. Its crisp profile is supported by a light, grainy malt backbone that allows the hop-forward character to shine without distraction. A clean, snappy bitterness defines the finish, highlighting the resinous and tropical notes while maintaining a high level of drinkability and a refreshing, dry aftertaste that invites another sip.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (6-8 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, persistent white head and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent peach and nectarine from the Peacharine, coupled with blueberry, tangerine, and subtle pine notes of Mosaic. Malt is low and clean, providing a faint crackery base. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward, leading with high flavors of tropical stone fruit and citrus. The malt provides a low, grainy, toasted character that yields to a firm, clean bitterness. The finish is medium-dry and crisp, with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation accentuates the bitter snap. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no astringency.
