EXTRA FOAM! is an elevated take on the classic German Pils, living up to its name with a towering, persistent white head over a brilliant straw-colored body. The aroma is defined by a high intensity of herbal and spicy German hops, supported by a distinct bready malt backbone and hints of toasted cracker. On the palate, a firm, slightly higher bitterness asserts itself immediately, slicing through the clean, grainy sweetness. This crisp profile leads to a bone-dry, refreshing finish with a lingering spicy hop character, characteristic of a well-crafted, hop-forward lager with a sophisticated mineral snap.
Appearance. Brilliant straw color (3 SRM). Massive, dense, and creamy white head with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring classic herbal and spicy hop notes. Supporting malt character is bready and doughy with a hint of toasted crackers. Fermentation is impeccably clean.
Taste. Initial bready malt flavor is quickly overtaken by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Hop flavors follow the aroma with spicy and slightly floral notes. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering bitterness and clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation, providing a lively and effervescent mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth; finish is clean and refreshing with a subtle minerally sharpness.
