Baltika 9 Strong is a potent expression of the Dunkles Bock style, leveraging a 100% malt bill to achieve its significant 8% ABV through natural fermentation. The sensory experience is dominated by the rich, bready qualities of Munich and Vienna malts, which impart deep toasty Maillard products and a hint of dark fruit. Despite its strength, the beer maintains a smooth, clean lager profile with a luxurious sweetness that lingers into the finish. This extra-strength lager balances its robust malt presence with a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth, creating a satisfyingly full and warming profile.
Appearance. Deep copper to dark brown with distinct garnet highlights; excellent clarity despite the depth of color; large, creamy, off-white head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
