Bad Seed Brewing

This Hazy IPA radiates with a saturated hop intensity, led by the sophisticated interplay of Freestyle Peacharine, Citra, and Strata CGX. The sensory experience is dominated by a dense cloud of fuzzy peach and ripe nectarine driven by the Peacharine, which transitions into a vibrant citrus melange of grapefruit and lime from the Citra. On the palate, the fruit profile deepens as Strata CGX introduces layers of tropical passion fruit and a hint of strawberry. A soft, pillowy texture supports the massive hop charge without any harsh bitterness, finishing with a juicy, lingering impression of sun-ripened stone fruit.

Appearance. 3-5 SRM. Pours a glowing, opaque straw-gold with a dense, meringue-like white head that exhibits exceptional retention and leaves thick, attractive lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of stone fruit, specifically fresh peach and nectarine, complemented by tropical passion fruit and zesty grapefruit. A soft, bready, flour-like malt base provides a neutral canvas, while fermentation remains clean with subtle supportive fruity esters.

Taste. Explodes with juicy peach and nectarine flavors, followed by layers of mango, grapefruit, and a touch of red berry. Malt flavor is low and bready, serving to balance the heavy hop oils. Bitterness is restrained and soft, leading to a clean, off-dry, and intensely fruity finish without any hop burn.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and exceptionally smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harshness is present, and alcohol warmth is negligible.

Peachfuzz hører til Bad Seeds meget vellidte Fuzzy-serie af New England IPAs. Denne øl er Double Dryhopped med Strata CGX og Citra humle, foruden store mængder af den relativt nye og eftertragtede Freestyle Peacharine humle fra New Zealand i fokus. Navnet på både humlen og øllen giver da også en god indikation på hvad præcist man kan forvente af denne øl: Nemlig tonsvis af Peachy Goodness. Moden, saftig fersken parret med kandiseret appelsin, mango og passionsfrugt, samt Bad Seeds velkendte bitre bid og Fuzzy-seriens karakteristiske rige og silkebløde mundfornemmelse.

Peachfuzz is a Double Dry-Hopped New England IPA showcasing a new and very desirable hop variety from New Zealand called Peacharine.

It's bursting with intense aromas of ripe peach, candied orange, Filipino Mango and passion fruit. We’ve matched up the peach-heavy Peacharine with equally peach-heavy Strata CGX from Crosby Hops, and a dash of Citra to give more complexity in the hop profile.

Peachfuzz has the hop intensity and saturation that we loved so much in Fuzzy Greens - however in a more easy drinkable format.
