Chemtrailblazer is an enticing New England IPA that delivers a vivid tropical rush. The dry-hop combination of Citra and Citra Cryo unleashes vibrant waves of bright tangerine and sweet pink grapefruit, while Mosaic contributes deep passionfruit, mango, and a hint of earthy blueberry. Vic Secret elevates the bouquet with clean, resinous pineapple and passionfruit notes. Built on a soft, bready malt foundation, this hazy pour balances its lush juice profile with a surprisingly firm and pronounced bitterness. It strikes a perfect harmony between pillowy, fruit-forward modern hop saturation and a crisp, structured finish.
Appearance. Pale straw to deep gold (SRM 4-6) with a luminous, glowing opacity and hazy shine. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention that leaves dense lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High to very high intensity aroma bursting with passionfruit, ripe mango, pineapple, and sweet tangerine citrus. A supportive, low, bready and lightly doughy malt character rests in the background, clean and completely free of caramel or toastiness, alongside light, fruity yeast esters.
Taste. An initial explosion of tropical fruit and bright citrus juice flavors is supported by a soft, medium-low bready malt flavor. The hop bitterness is medium to medium-high—perceptibly firmer and more pronounced than typical for the style—which beautifully cuts through the fruitiness and leads to an off-dry, clean finish with a lingering tropical and resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is moderate, and a very light, pleasant alcohol warmth is noticeable but incredibly well-integrated.
