This Double IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience centered on its modern hop profile. Nectaron introduces intense stone fruit and peach nectar notes, seamlessly blended with the bright grapefruit and lime characteristics of Citra. Nelson Sauvin provides a sophisticated layer of crushed white wine grapes and gooseberry, enhancing the aromatic depth. Despite its 8.2% strength, the malt character remains neutral and supportive, providing a lean backbone that emphasizes hop intensity. A firm, clean bitterness balances a subtle, integrated alcohol warmth, leading to a dry and refreshing finish that highlights lingering tropical resins and floral notes.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM) with excellent clarity and a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit, peach, and passionfruit from Nectaron, bolstered by citrus peel and lime from Citra. Nelson Sauvin contributes a distinct vinous, white grape quality. Malt is low and neutral-grainy, with a clean fermentation profile and no detectable esters.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of grapefruit, stone fruit, and white currant dominate the palate. Bitterness is moderately high but remains smooth and free of harshness. The malt provides a soft, unobtrusive, crackery support. The finish is notably dry and clean with a long, resinous aftertaste of citrus pith and tropical fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
