Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40). It supports a dense, persistent light tan head with fine lacing that clings to the glass as it recedes.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans are immediately joined by a distinct, fragrant rosewater perfume. Subtle citrusy hop notes and a hint of caramel malt sweetness underlie the floral and roasted bouquet. No noticeable alcohol or diacetyl.
