This Double IPA radiates an intense New World hop profile, driven by a collaborative blend of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Riwaka hops. On the palate, a clean and dry fermentation profile allows the complex tropical and white wine hop characters to shine without cloying sweetness. Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (7-9 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with fine lacing. Clarity is clear to slightly hazy from high dry-hop concentrations.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by citrus lime, tropical passionfruit, and the distinctive white wine and gooseberry notes of Nelson Sauvin. Clean, neutral maltiness provides a faint grainy support in the background. Low fruity esters with a clean fermentation profile and no solventy alcohol.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of lime, grapefruit, and ripe melon. Moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and non-harsh.
