Ring A Ding presents a vibrant, juicy profile typical of a modern Hazy IPA. The inclusion of Citra and Simcoe hops drives an intense aromatic display of tropical mango, bright passionfruit, and zesty grapefruit, complemented by a subtle piney resin. The malt foundation, featuring a blend of Pale Ale and Pilsner malts with Wheat and Caramel Pils, provides a soft, bready backbone that supports the hop saturation without competing for attention. This combination results in a plush, pillowy texture and a hazy, glowing appearance, finishing with a restrained bitterness that emphasizes pure fruit character over sharp, resinous edges.
Appearance. Color is a glowing light orange (5 SRM). Characteristically hazy and nearly opaque with a luminous sheen. Topped by a persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical and stone fruit. Citra provides clear grapefruit and lime zest, while Simcoe adds layers of passionfruit and a hint of forest resin. Low, bready malt presence from the Wheat and Pale Ale malts is detectable underneath. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Immediate impact of sweet tropical fruit and citrus oils. Hop flavors of mango and orange peel are prominent.
