This assertive Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience led by the punchy interplay of Mosaic and Citra hops. The aroma is a vibrant explosion of tropical mango, lychee, and bright grapefruit, grounded by a subtle, clean malt backbone. On the palate, bold flavors of ripe stone fruit and citrus zest dominate, supported by a firm, persistent bitterness that remains crisp rather than harsh. A smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth reflects its strength without detracting from its dry, refreshing finish. It is a modern, hop-forward powerhouse that balances complexity with high drinkability and a lingering resinous aftertaste.
Appearance. Gold to light copper in color (8–10 SRM). Displays good clarity with only a slight haze from heavy hopping. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of tropical fruit (mango, blueberry), citrus (grapefruit, lime), and a hint of resinous pine. A supportive, clean, neutral to grainy maltiness is present in the background. Fermentation profile is clean with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit, mango, and stone fruit. High bitterness is firm but clean, lacking harshness. A low, supportive, bready malt character provides a soft foundation. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a long, lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is clean and well-integrated.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture and no hop-derived astringency. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crispness that enhances the dry finish. Restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but subtle.
